Didi and I only met once, in Poole, when I was visiting from Canada. We kept in touch over the years. I am a distant cousin of her late husband Jim, through our ancestor Emma North. Didi and I were born the same year, she would never forget my birthday. She would send newsy letters . Didi was a warm, kind person, I felt I had known her all my life. I am very sad at her passing and send heartfelt condolences to her family.
